Behind Saha Space

The word saha can be roughly translated to “together”

In reference to studies between the instructor and student:

May we be protected | May we be nourished | May we work together with great energy | May our intellect be sharpened and our studies effective, May it not give rise to hostility | Om — peace in me, peace in others, peace in universe ||

Behind Saha Space

At Saha Space, yoga is more than asanas. It’s a way of living that is rooted in authentic tradition, thoughtfully adapted for life in the west.

Your body is your first language. Every practice here honors that. But yoga begins off the mat too, and this space is here to help you explore how it can weave into your everyday life, in a way that actually works for you.

Begin. Breathe. Belong.

Inclusivity

Every body, every background, every level is welcome here.

Community

Growth happens together. We show up for each other.

Presence

Move with intention. Live in the moment.

Alignment

In the body, in the breath, and in the way we move through life.

Meet Pankti

Hi! I’m so happy you’re here!

Origins

Yoga didn’t begin for me in a studio. It began in the traditions and rituals I grew up with — weekly gatherings exploring the Bhagavad Gita, stories from Hindu scriptures, a way of living that I only later recognised as yoga.

Rediscovery

Years later, it found me again in New York City. I’d just moved from Tampa, searching for calm in the middle of everything. I completed my first 200-hour training while working full-time, and realised there were deeper layers waiting.

Evolution

That pull took me to Rishikesh, where I retrained in a more traditional setting. Today, I continue to refine my practice and my teaching, bringing that depth into every class I lead.

Lifestyle

Outside of yoga, you’ll usually find me moving: dancing, running, cycling, or somewhere near the ocean. Café-hopping. Letting travel shape me. That curiosity and love of exploration is what I carry into everything I share at Saha Space.
